The Collectionary siteIt has come to my attention that there is a website that houses a dictionary of collections; it is called The Collectionary. It houses hundreds of different Collectionaries that you can join.

They have expert collectors called moderators that help add items to each collection under that category. The site offers history, facts or unique attributes regarding a particular collectible or item. It allows you to find the places you can find the item; whether it is new or something you remember from when you were younger.

Purses Collectionary carries many high end purses. Maybe sometime in the near future MacramePurses will be one of their collections.

Macrame Wild Weekend

It turned out to be a great start.
Four flex frame  purses and a market bag. I have to admit I finished the market bag before this weekend began.

I started in the evening Friday until 11 p.m.

Saturday morning about 9 until 4 in the afternoon.

My husband and I helped paint at Inspired For You Saturday night until 11 p.m.
Sunday, I served at church in the morning.

Stopped by my brother’s house for his birthday at 2-4 p.m.

By 11 p.m.Sunday this is what was finished.

I’m pretty pleased.

Let’s see how far I get with the rest by next Sunday night.

700 And Counting!

Thank you to everyone for a milestone of 700 check-ins.

I really appreciate your interest in the goings on here at SideCapers Macrame.

To be honest, blog writing is very new to me. I took quite a while to convince myself that I had anything interesting to share. Now I strive to be as thorough as possible in my explanations of the purses that I make without being boring and redundant.

I have decided to write as though you have completed basic projects before, so if there is a portion that you do not understand and wish to know how to arrive at a certain point, please ask and I will explain further.

Again, I thank you for taking an interest in someone who has re discovered the art of macrame.
